Well then it should probably go in for repair. If it is an automatic or mechanical watch then the time can be adjusted very easily and I wouldn't say was necessarily unusual. The crown will also be an easy fix too.

After 2 months you won't have an automatic right to a refund, unless you raised these issues within a reasonable time (perhaps a week or so) of purchase (and things have been dragging on since then), as you will be deemed to have "accepted" the goods. This means the retailer must offer a remedy (repair, replace, refund) but the choice is effectively theirs.

I also have to return a damaged watch tomorrow. It's a £2000 Tag watch from fraser hart who are trying to say it's scratched although it's immaculate. Problem is it doesn't keep good time and last week the crown fell off! It's 2 months old! I've got the sale of goods act memorised. I have a meeting with the assistant manager today. Any advice? I have taken photos and videos. Also is it ok for me to use my iPhone to record the conversation?

They will hopefully offer a repair. If it goes off to TAG service centre under warranty, I would expect it to come back looking and performing like a new watch.
    How inaccurate is it ?
As for the recording, the manager can decline to be recorded and ask you to leave the premises. What do you hope to achieve by recording it anyway ?

    What outcome are you after?

Proof of what was said, rather than a "he said, she said" scenario?

I meant as in repair, replacement or refund. The poster in question had no mention of "he said, she said" etc being a problem, they haven't even spoke to anyone yet.
