Is there a Male Pattern Baldness Solution?

My hubby is 40 this summer. I have got him to join the gym, losing 24lbs in the course of 6-months, after he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
However, he has male pattern baldness. I know he would love to have a full head of hair again to match the new him.
Over the last 5-years, he's tried concealing powder and lotions to rub in, without success.
We had thought about a hair transplant but its too expensive and the results seem unclear.
Are there any other options?

My OH uses Alpecin C1 shampoo and also the liquid after. It has stopped his hair loss and thickend the hair back up (he only just begun to receeed very slightly) but I don't know if it would grow hair back. Could be worth a try though.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Derma rolling has had very good results in preventing more hair loss and can encourage new hair growth, its sometimes called micro needling:)0

There IS a solution: Finasteride 1mg (propecia). I've been on this for a few years and it's got rid of my bald crown. It's only available on prescription (private) though and it ain't cheap!!0

Try a hair system - painless and instant. My brother got one last year and I was amazed at how natural it was.
I cant recall where he ordered it, but if interested PM me and I will get you the details. Here are some examples so you can see for yourself.

A full head of hair on anybody over middle age looks false, especially if the hair is dyed.
Shaving is the way to go.
Are you trying to make him attractive to other women LOLZ?0 -

Given the choice, I think more people than not would want to keep their head or regrow it

Whoever comes up with a solution for men going bald will make himself a millionaire.
Why is it only men that seem to go bald ?Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
