Best value SIPP

I am going to be putting some money into a SIPP over the next few years to bump up the Company pension for my wife
Its going to be about £10k for the next 5 years. She would get relief at 40%.
Will be doing some trading in shares as well as investment trusts and bonds.
Which Sipp provider/s are the best value? I was looking at Hargreaves as their share trading cost seemed ok but have been reading today that the overall charges incurred on their Sipp are quite high?
Thanks for any advice,

What investments are you planning to hold in your SIPP? How often do you expect to trade?
Once you know that, you can compare the charges the various providers offer. HL are reasonably priced in the early days whilst your investment value is low but their charges can skyrocket later on. They also charge a lot to exit if you wanted to change provider. Though if all you want to put in is £10K, you will probably find it's much of a muchness.
Find snowman's spreadsheet to do some modelling. Link should be mentioned in several posts.0 -

Ok have narrowed it down to interactive investor,iWeb and Fidelity.
Does anyone have any experince with any of these ? What are they like for customer service ? Is the web site good for share dealing?

I thought that Fidelity only allowed share dealing and property in their "Specialist SIPP" which is only available to members of their "Fidelity Wealth and Fidelity Wealth Management Service" which has a minimum £100,000 investment requirement.0

You will need to see which shares and/or bonds you are planning to buy and then look for the platform which best suits them.

You say you will be putting some money into a SIPP for your wife and then say she will get 40% tax relief. I assume she earns enough to gain the full 40% tax relief?
You also say bump up the Company pension and then mention a SIPP. Will the company pay into your choice of SIPP?0
