Jsa claim issue

Hi all,

Just wondering if someone can shed some light if I have done anything wrong.

I have been claiming jsa for a month now after being made redundant on the last day of February. I received a call on Friday asking me if I could come in for a work trial on Monday (yesterday) following an interview a few weeks ago.

I basically did a whole day at the company (I have no idea if I am getting paid for that day or not) and at the end of the day I was offered the job starting tomorrow (2nd of April)

I haven't told the job centre I have a job yet, am I supposed to tell them before I start work?

No provided you tell them on your signing day will not be an issue. Well done on the new job.
