Multiple claims refused - just go to FOS?

In November 2012, I sent out 5 different PPI reclaim forms, 4 refused and 1 (lloyds personal loan) paid up. Rather than just accepting their decision I am now going to continue to get refunds. Most of these credit cards were applied for online during a very bad period, my husband was an IT contractor, with very little work and I was at home looking after 3 young children. There is no way PPI would have covered us for anything, illness, unemployment etc... When I actually studied the monthly statements and saw how much was going to PPI, I looked it up online and when I found it was useless to us I cancelled it.
As I have already approached these companies in 2012, and they refused, should I just proceed to the FOS?

If you believe the responses are wrong or your evidence is being ignored and the rejections from the bank were in the last 6 months then you can refer your complaints to the FOS.
if the rejections were over 6 months ago, then you are out of time to refer it to the FOS.Most of these credit cards were applied for online
Which does make the chances of a successful complaint much much lower. After all, these would not be mis-sold but mis-bought. You would be reliant on a technical failure by the card provider and not an actual mis-sale.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). PPI taken out online is generally deemed mis-bought rather than mis-sold (due to there being no Bank staff present to sell it to you)and so your other reasons are irrelevant0 -

Thank you for your 2 very quick responses. WOW
All were online applications, so I had best forget about them. 2 applications (joint Credit Cards with LLoyds, were opened after discussions with our Bank Manager, both of which contained PPI (although he knew my husband was a contractor, and therefore not in permanent employ. So do you think I should contact LLoyds again and request the PPI to be reviewed?0 -

What reason did the Bank give for not upholding your complaint?0 -
Are you still within the 6 month period following the rejection? Did the rejection address your complaint reason being that he was a contractor?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). How can she be if she complained in 2012?
Depends on how quick the response to the complaint was. Whilst a quick response would now see it timebarred, its possible there was a queue and a response didnt come until the latter part of last year or even this year.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
