Xmas Sun - HELP

Hi, looking for some help me and the family - 8 adults and 2 kids are looking to go away for xmas - depart 21st Dec onwards need to be back by 6th Jan latest so open on the amount of time, the only requirement is that it is hot and family orentated and we are trying to keep cost down so was thinking about a villa or appartment.

Obviously at that time of year its going to be tough but any ideas appreciated.

What is your budget? Where can you fly from?

How many bedrooms? would sofa-beds in living rooms be ok?

Could you split up into small apartments?

Flying from any London airport, totally flexible on accomodation type and can split up budget between £200 - £400 pp

nearest 'heat' is canaries,
we've done them twice, and tenerife was warmer than lanzarote,

the most expensive part is the flights, book now as nearer the time (ie oct onwards) they are usually about £300 each, which wouldnt leave alot of budget for villa,
but it isn't really warm enough to go into the pool / sea, our kids did, for about 5 mins, then sat there shivering, warm enough to sunbathe though,

a private 4 bed villa would be your best bet for somewhere to stay, try holiday-rentals or owners direct websites, as we use these and never had any probs,
