Just not settled in with being a Bankrupt & knowing what is & isn't allowed. But then I have you lot to help me out along the way.

I know what you mean Noodles. This site is invaluable for helping out with the finite details.

    I hope you have a lovely holiday.x

    Hi Dennis.
Only spoke with my OR 3 times at the most & that was 6+months ago when I declared myself Bankrupt so not expecting any urgent calls.

    Hi Woody.
I've not accounted for a Holiday allowance in my SOA as just don't have any money spare after all out goings for this. But this has brought on another question. Can I substitute what I would have spent on food & fuel at home for this week away for spending money on Holiday instead?

Noodles my lovely, even if you choose to spend your entire shopping budget on a well-oiled str*pper and 50 packets of instant custard you can!
Obviously the rest of the month is going to be somewhat 'blue-stripe', but if it's within your SOA you can re-jig as you see fit.

Sorry for late reply. Had a date with some Custard!!!

I know what your saying is right. Its just getting my head around it all. I've been so rigid with my SOA that I've even put stuff back on the shelf while shopping as it had me slightly over what I've budgeted for that week (crazy now I know). And its only been till recently that I've also stopped collecting every single receipt for every purchase to show what I've spent my money on.
Think its the stigmatism with being a Bankrupt that makes me feel like I must show proof of everything or ask permission before doing anything that strays away from what I have said on my SOA, rather than doing exactly what you've stated.

I'll get there in the end!!!

I know, it takes a while to get there. I'm almost a month past AD and I still feel that I should be making notes each time I visit the supermarket.

The SOA though is an overall reasonable sum of money you need for the month, and you can most definitely choose to spend less on your shopping in order to use those funds for something lovely (or even something horrible should the SHTF one month) Don't beat yourself up and go enjoy some sunshine! xx :T
