taking out a radiator

Hi all,
Getting a new kitchen done,but we need to remove a radiator first.
Whats the process and how much would it cost?
Sorry, am clueless with all this stuff - any help appreciated!

plumber will charge about 100/150 quid.
you can diy it for about a fiver/tenner.
for a normal system:
drain the system, cut off the 2 pipes, fit compression stop ends. (2 spanners and a 15mm pipe cutter). refill the system and poss bleed the other rads.
then remove the rad brackets off the wall.Get some gorm.0
