Many (most/all?) of the MBNA run cards.Do any cards do this with low BT rates and a 12 month offer?
If you can take advantage of a fee cap (ie high credit limit), and are prepared to swap again in 6 months, then the Virgin AMEX White might be an option.

MBNA wont balance transfer to themselfs so it doesnt matter what the limits are.
Unless you use the egg card trick or via a 0% transfer fee card.
Of course it matters, it basically means he is able to complete the balance transfer @ 0%. As I said though he will need to facilitate this through another account, i.e his current a/c, this process is actually very straightforward.0
