District Enforcement Ltd Jump Ship

Just noticed that, with effect from yesterday - 31 March 2014 - District Enforcement have signed up with the IPC.

http://www.theipc.info/#!aos-members/cv75

One of the more 'recognised' PPCs, now presumably leaving the BPA in the process. Is this the start of an exodus; one of the larger cards removed from the lower floor of the BPA house?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I unticked the box to receive PMs some time ago as was getting bombarded by posters wanting me to deal 'exclusively and privately, off forum' with their cases.

Just ticked again, so have another go!

Best to leave your PMs on, but turn the option for receive from contacts only. Then just add people to your contacts list.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

DE might be more visible than the usual PPC tiddlers especially because their variety of contract law perversion is not that practised by most PPCs. However apart from their old alma mata Staffordshire University & some gigs around that locality they are a pretty tin pot operation compared to the real heavyweights of PPC World.

I knew that would happen, guessed they would, as they operate a contractual fee method. Could be interesting.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Indeed yes - a natural progression for DE to move to IPC

I wonder if the IPC are offering any financial incentive for people to jump ship or whether their membership fee is less than the BPA? I mean amending all of the signage and letter heads etc is going to cost money.

Suggest you read up a bit about it DA_Rule then - the membership fees are available on both the BPA and IPC websites - once again your lack of knoweledge and experience is showing through here.

Gladstones are also acting for DE at LBC stages .... so draw your own conclusions. District Enforcement are also the contractual model - which all the current members purport to use (some with better signage than others)
