claiming back insurance claim on ppi that i forgot i had

hi took out ppi on loan few years ago loan is still running but during loan i had bad car accident and was of work for 12 months it is only now with all this misselling i realise i should of claimed can i go back and claim on this ppi after 4 years or is there any time limits

I would make a claim for the mis sell and see what comes back.
The reasons that you may have been mis sold, if it was Single Premium, you had life cover, good sick package from work etc.0 -

I think the OP is on about making an actual retrospective claim on the cover. And in answer to the OP's question it may be possible if you can prove you were off work but its a question best directed to the insurer as to whether they will allow you to do so.0 -
