Central heating in new-build

Hi All,
Hope someone can assist.
I have purchased a new-build house 3,5 years ago. It came with boiler/cylinder and solar panel. Now, when all of that is outside of the two year warranty i have a solar heating system with a broken sensor, cylinder which cannot hold water hotter than 20C and open vented boiler fitted into a sealed system. British Gas does not want to touch the system, company who has installed the system refuse to touch it since the manufacturer is really bad. The boiler's manual says that it should only be fitted to an open vented system, GasSafe registered engineer says same, manufacturer confirmed same to me by email. Yet, manufacturer sent confirmation to the builders saying it was ok to do that, which is opposite to what they tell me. Yet when i questioned the manufacturer why they reckon their product, originally not designed to be pressurised, is all of a sudden ok to be pressurised, they keep quiet.
So, i have a boiler, which is allegedly unsafe and solar/cylinder which no one wants to repair.
After contacting the company who built the house, they've spent 2 week messing me around and promising they we will come to an "amicable close", which means fixing the problems. Yet, when they came out all they did it washed their hands of any responsibility. Is it worthwhile to take this to small claims court? Replacement cylinder £2000, boiler £1800, solar £4000.
Can i claim that it is unreasonable to have a central heating which has to be replaced after 3,5 years?
P.S. NHBC does not cover this as they only cover structural problems.
thanks in advance
