Can PPI be claimed from car insurance?

Options
Recently when I took out car insurance, I noticed that there's a box to tick to pay for PPI. It made me wonder if any of my old policies had PPI.

Is this something that people have been claiming?

I'm guessing you paid for the vehicle insurance monthly and it is this monthly repayment which is insured?

Have you suffered an illness, accident or sickness?

People who borrow money to pay their car insurance (i.e. most people that pay monthly) can have PPI on it. Its not common but it does exist. However, these are normally non-advised via comparison sites etc

I've always paid in a lump sum.

I had an accident in 2008.

This is irrelevant to a mis-selling complaint.

So you won't have had this PPI on any old policies then.

From what you've posted, you have no money to "get" as you paid the premium "in a lump sum".

Yes, as already advised to "sugarbabe84" back in March.
