This is a stealth charge operated by nearly all insurance companies these days, it states if any changes are made to the policy, they can charge you a fee, in your case £35, just for tapping a computer key board, I wish you luck in getting your refund, I also had insurance with Hastings Direct last year for my motorcycle, I made an error, and realised within an hour or so, rang them, and they agreed to alter the policy at no further cost, which was good, so they can be flexible, if they wish to be.


I can see these fees been the next big re-claiming scandal people, watch this space !!!!!!
