Good. Did you send it online/via email? And have you had any confirmation?

If you sent your initial appeal on 4th April, the 14 days for acknowledgment of receipt will probably be around 20th April (allowing 2 days for them to receive if your appeal was posted), so nowhere near 14 days just yet.

And in any case, they have 35 days to decide your appeal.

Just re-visited the 14 days you mention. Do you mean 14 days for their kind offer of a discount?

Don't worry about a discount period - you'll be paying SFA by following forum advice right through.

    Hi
yes i meant the 14 days to pay, i have received my rejection letter today, is the popla number the verification code on the bottom of the form, also it says they prefer you to communicate with popla direct on their website, do i have to send the same paragraphs from the newby page that i sent to parking eye or is it something different i send to them
    thanks

If you go back to the NEWBIES thread you'll find a whole section on POPLA. The POPLA appeal is not a copy-paste of the first appeal.

If you go to the Parking Cowboy's website you'll find a POPLA code checker. Try the reference in there to check that it's a real POPLA code, and when it expires (as that's the date by which your POPLA appeal needs to be in).

DO NOT rush the POPLA appeal - draft your appeal and then post it here for review.

Right, off to the NEWBIES sticky and look at the section on POPLA appeals. Find a template close to your circumstances, flex it as necessary, and then post a draft for us to advise on fine tuning into a winning appeal.

You've got a bit of time to research this thoroughly, but just to warn you, the POPLA deadline is absolute - miss it and you miss the one golden opportunity to get rid of this for good.
