help with mortgage protection insurance

Hi can anyone help me find a compancy who will insure my son for mortgage protection insurance. He lives in the uk, pays uk tax but is employed by a foreign firm and works off shore abroad month on month off. Having great difficulty getting insurance for him because of this. Thanks in advance

I suspect that it would be a waste of money. Most mortgage protection policies have huge exclusions. It would perhaps be better to open an ISA specially for mortgage payments in case of redundancy and make a monthly payment into it to cover himself just in case.

Actually, mortgage ones are not too bad. That is why most MPPI complaints fail (whereas most loan & credit card PPi complaints succeed).

Thanks for that. Was wondering about income protection, but we are having the same problem, with him working abroad. Any ideas about companies who would be able to help.
