Just to finish off the April report; pleased that there were absolutely no INS but only four outs altogether. I have a couple of spluttery things so hopefully May should see a bit more movement on the UU list.

    Start January 2017: $268,012
    Latest balance $266,734

Well I have had a lot on my mind this last month so I'm afraid I've been rather lax with my product usage and have neglected my pampering. My down mood has also meant that I have purchased a few items which I didn't really need. So my ins are Dove 60 Second Treatment Shot reduced to 74p (this was actually a purchase at the very end of March which I forgot to declare), Aldi Aqua Complete Multi Intensive Serum for £3.49 which I spotted on a rare visit to the store, Right Guard Shower + Oils on special offer for £1.00 and Timotei Pure Shampoo also on offer for £1.00. I have no excuse as to why I felt the urge to purchase other than that it improved my mood at the time.

I have had a couple of use ups from both my earlier Project Pans, but I can't think at the moment. I will have to amalgamate the lists so I can see what I still have left to use up.

It's a beautiful day today and yesterday we had some fantastic news about my Mum's recent breast cancer scare which was a huge relief. Hopefully May will be a better month for me and I can start getting back into the swing of pampering. :o

Have a lovely day ladies. :)
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

Wondering whether to use up a face moisturiser as hand cream... Is that cheating?

Nope, not cheating :) I often repurpose things, what's to say a face cream isn't a hand cream with a different label stuck on it?
I'm always amazed at the price of shower gel for say 250ml compared to a 500ml bottle of bubble bath  is there any difference except 100% extra for the same money! ;):D

UU no 14/ lush amandapondo bubble bar. This smelt like Turkish delight, mmmmm. Was a bit harder to dissolve than my fave bubble bars though. WMBA

INS: I'm sure I have other ins I haven't declared (like the clarins deal) and I got 100ml Ralph Lauren 'Ralph' perfume which I'm not too sure I declared.

Today's ins are 1/ balmi lip balm
    2/ garnier charcoal scrub

  • Another free IN to declare, was in Superdrug with my mum and snuck this into the basket. Have heard fab things about it and it was on 50% off.

Great news about your mum Babafette must be a huge relief for you and your family.

    One last UU to declare:

Hello kitty shaped handwash container that was filled with a concoction of unloved gloop - will trawl through the cupboard of doom to see what I can refill it with (one day in the distant future I may actually purchase a real handwash!)

I really like this, almost finished my first tube with a second waiting in the wings!

I have had no further action in the past few days. April has been s-l-o-w but I'm hoping for a more productive May. Positive mental attitude!

See you on the other [STRIKE]side[/STRIKE] thread xx

Got to the end of the month and then I went in Wilko's yesterday.
I'd left my heavy shopping from Heron outside Wilko's, but safely secured on my trike luggage carrier, whilst I went just inside the shop to get a trolley. As I did so, saw some young lads eyeing the shopping up speculatively.
I'm not sure if they heard my shout of "DON'T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" but the rest of the store did. :o They wandered away and my shopping stayed intact.

Retrieved shopping and in a unusually less than sunny mood, I then saw the less than half price OS raspberry and vanilla shower gel right at the front of the store... Still in stock.

(It's every bit as nice as I thought it would be, which put me in a lovely mood after my shower this morning).

Trotting round the store I then came across a 75% beauty reduction - 150 ml Pantene Fibro - Reinforcing Spray for stronger, fuller hair, can be used on wet or dry hair. Down from £4.38 to £1.09. Do keep a look out for one in your Wilko if you could use it!
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
  • One last UU for April: Avene Eau thermale rich skin recovery cream 40ml. My absolute HG for when my skin is playing up or I develop eczema, but that tends to be from October to March, so I will not be replacing until later in the year.

    Totals for April:

    IN - 7
    OUT - 11

All INs were NBI and as we've been so keen on our total mls... 7ml IN and 665ml out, so definitely moving in the right direction (apart from the direction in to retentive attention to figures...)

See you in the next thread!
