MrM's Elemis Sensitive Shave Gel has arrived today so impressed with the speed of delivery.
Have been in the stash today to give some products to both MrM and Emma. MrM likes Elemis Quiet Mind for his bath and I've just given him the last small bottle that I have of this. Maybe I'll treat him to some when this has gone.
Have been packing with Emma for her trip to Iceland and given her a bottle of Baylis & Harding body lotion mini to take with her. I'm actually surprised that I don't have much in the way of body lotion travel sizes. We are going on a cruise this year though so size is no object re: luggage so won't be conned into thinking I need to get travel sizes.
I've decided that when I go to the Trafford Centre on Monday I'm going to buy a full size Lavender hand cream and a liquid soap refill. My hands are so dry at the moment to the point where I feel like I have eczema. My skin is sore, itchy and peeling. When I've suffered with dermatitis in the past Loccitane Lavender hand cream has really soothed it. I also don't think any of us are particularly getting on well with the OS hand wash in the kitchen as it doesn't seem to be going down at all.
I've suffered a real blow today - my Google Nexus tablet has died. Apparently it's a common problem and is due to an update that's been installed on it. Am not happy at all as I've only had it just over a year. Doesn't look like the John Lewis guarantee is going to cover it either. Thing is I've become really attached to this little gadget.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Happy Saturday all
Anyone else had problems with Bodyshop online delivery using DPD, normally i have no problem with royal mail because I go and collect it from the sorting office just down the road, DPD sorting office on the other hand is 75 miles away and want £10 + Vat for the priviledge of delivering it at a time someone will be able to sign for it. Have asked Bodyshop for a refund as i refuse to pay £10 + VAT for a parcel so it will never get signed for. Well i guess someone in the gods doesn't want me on the naughty step! Bodyshop also appear to have no customer service on a weekend which is rather amusing in today's 24 hr society.
Oh well 3 UU's to report on the good me front....:rotfl:
Bond Girl 007 sample from avon, was nice but WNBA for myself, would use if gifted but i have so many fragrances to use first.
Aussie Volume shampoo 300ml Didn't enjoy using this brand to start but its grown on me as the bottle has gone down WBA. I have a few more shampoos to use in the stash first.
Morrisons Bubblebath 1lt WBA Does the job bubbles well and is not too expensive when bf uses about 100mls in a go

I don't count make-up but got 2 bits whilst I was in town today - an MUA powder blush and a Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation sample. So glad I got the UD sample as it's a decent sized one and I was just contemplating buying Rimmel Wake Me Up as found it for a fiver in Savers, and now I have 2 weeks to think about whether I actually need a new foundation! (Answer: no).
The MUA blush is fantastic, got it because I couldn't find anything else in a nice muted rose colour without a tonne of glitter/shimmer, can't believe it's only £1 for how pigmented it is! That's my ELF blush going straight in the bin now!New graduate trying to get debt-free.

Afternoon lovely ladies. I have been lurking recently but not had time to post.
Sundays Girl hope you had the most amazing wedding day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.
Happy birthday Catriona Hope you had a lovely day - spa sounds fab.
Sorry to hear about your car Kadison really hope it all gets sorted soon, what a nightmare!!
Lovely haul FizzWizz - I really want to try the EL DW as my skin is so rubbish. Need to go and get colour matched but I really shouldn't until I have UU some other foundations first. I don't have anything else that is high coverage though really.
Ooh the Origins offer is tempting too, I've never tried any of there products before. Where is the offer on?
Argh I want a body butter from TBS - I love them. So much temptation!!0 -
Any ideas about what to do with a rubbish make up remover?! It was only £1 from Wilkinsons own range so I didn't expect much but it just smudges mascara all over my face and stings my eyes!!
Think I may just have to bin it0 -
Right, I have some INs from yesterday and today, most were ones I'd need relatively soon so not massively unneccessary, the only exceptions being the Avene and Vichy which were on the clearance shelf in Boots, mostly toner which I don't have a lot of so not exactly adding to a huge pile with any of it.
UUs
Aussie Hairspray 250ml - LHJ, took ages to go, WMBA but have tonnes of hairspray left!
Baylis & Harding Rose & Raspberry Body Wash 300ml
GA/TA
Dr Nick Lowe Spot Treatment Gel 15ml - Had been sat around for ages, WBA if I needed a spot gel but it's not something I need any more really.
Ultimo Usculpt Boobs+ - Was going to try to get around to reviewing this for Boots but it stank so when I realised they no longer sell it and Ultimo have discontinued it, in the bin it went!
NBI
L'Occitane Repairing Conditioner 6ml
L'Occitane Repairing Shampoo 6ml
INs
Coca-Cola Cherry coke lip balm 4g x 12 - I get through a lot of these as they taste great and tint my lips perfectly, unfortunately I am now having to buy in bulk online for about £3 a pop, 3 times more than I paid back when Primark used to sell them
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Shade 220 x 3 - On a 3 for 2 offer and my HG powder, cheap even at full price (£5.99) and matches my skin better than L'Oreal True Match.
Soltan Once Face SPF30 - On hols soon, this is my summer day moisturiser so definitely needed and on half price!
Avene Cleanance Purifying Toner 200ml - On clearance for £5.00 (£10.50 on Boots Online)
Avene Gentle Toner 200ml - On clearance for £4.00 (£11.50 on Boots Online), plus I like Avene and always wanted to try more products but they were never on a decent offer and I hate to pay full price!
Vichy Thermal Spa Water 150ml £1.50 - Clearance shelf again and I use a lot of this in the summer when I can't sleep. RRP £7
Needed some more mini deos to keep in my bag as I'm on my last one, so got these on 4 for £3 in Asda...
Batiste Dry Shampoo - Tropical 50ml
Dove Mini deo 35ml - Pomegranate/Lemon Verbena x 2
Sure Mini deo 35ml - Ultra Dry Cotton £0.75
On my last bottle of my HG face wash which was cheaper in Tesco per bottle AND on BOGOF
Simple Foaming face wash 150ml x 2
Oh well, I would have bought a lot of that next month if not this and I'm hoping to get the OUTs up a LOT next month while I'm on holiday in Scottish Land!Have been packing with Emma for her trip to Iceland and given her a bottle of Baylis & Harding body lotion mini to take with her. Oh I'd love to go on a cruise again! Who are you going with (i.e. company) and where?
If the update was one recommended to you then you should have some come-back with someone, and try and JL guarantee as you never know until you try. Sorry it's died though, I felt like I'd lost a limb when my iPad broke!Anyone else had problems with Bodyshop online delivery using DPD, normally i have no problem with royal mail because I go and collect it from the sorting office just down the road, DPD sorting office on the other hand is 75 miles away and want £10 + Vat for the priviledge of delivering it at a time someone will be able to sign for it. I know, this garage I'm dealing with is CLOSED on Sundays!
I loathe DPD and Yodel for various reasons, that cat post thing is being dispatched by Yodel and I just know it'll get left with a neighbour with no card through my door whether I'm in or not! :mad:Any ideas about what to do with a rubbish make up remover?! Is it lotion or liquid? If liquid, use it as toner instead, if lotion, use it as foot cream, shower cream, moisuriser.......No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Well today I got a soap and glory mini face buffer. I've decided I'm rashing up as my skin is too sensitive for scrub. It's not the actual scrub. I thnk my prescription meds are drying out my skin. I can use this with regular cleanser
In Barry M lash Vegas waterproof. I don't love it like I did like that other waterproof but I can't bear the revlon photo ready one I got a couple of weeks ago. It's just crappy comes off in seconds. I'm going to wash the applicator as I've only used it twice and give it to my niece.
In mua primer. To see if it can even up my dry Patches and help my concealer look less lumpy. It was only £4 so no matter if it doesn't work0 -

I used one up by using it to clean my hob. Took all the grease off0 -
Well I have had a bit of a sh*t day to say the least. My auntie passed away this morning, my FIL is in hospital and, to top it all off, I fished a drowned hedgehog out of my garden pond this afternoon
Despite all that I have had quite a few UU's this week and not bought anything but that could well change tomorrow if I find myself comfort shopping while my son is at Beavers church parade...Never say never0
