Kadison, I am not surprised you're steaming! Give 'me what for!!

I'm lonely on the naughty step! So maybe I ought to mention that all the body butters are currently £5 at TBS

Sorry ladies, feeling a bit silly tonight ;) Start of holiday mania :D

Fizz whiz - I will be with you by tomorrow.

Kadison- have you considered approaching trading standards. If anyone deserves a pampering for frazzled nerves it's you xx

Thanks everyone for your support re the car, I am really to unleash hell on them tomorrow if necessary!

Meanwhile I've been shopping and have treated Gunther cat to a new scratching post for upstairs as his old one is falling apart and Rumple cat commandeers the one downstairs!

He's a very big cat so I've treated him to this so he can get a proper stretch going!

    Morning all.

I am shattered having had only 3 hours sleep courtesy of DH staying out really late then clattering about, snoring, then trying to talk to me about his night out.

    I have a uu

Pai Geranium & Thistle combination skin cream 5ml, this was nice and I will look into their products when I actually need to buy moisturiser.

May be joining fizzwhizz on the naughty step shortly... Have heard that Origins are giving away a free 30ml night cream if you buy a 50ml day cream. I do need a day cream, and apparently free night cream is worth £20 so wondering about selling it on ebay and therefore recouping most of the cost of the day cream...

I'm also tempted by this. I've wanted to give the Origins range a try for a while.
    Has anyone here tried it?
Also, the only full size day and night creams in my stash my skin seems to not like. I do have lots of sample sizes still to use though.

Oh one UU - Leighton Denny Best Defence hand and nail cream - WNBA, liked it because it was non greasy but it made no difference to my hands.

Yes, went to the place and spoke to a lovely Latvian mechanic (with the most unusual and beautiful ice green eyes) who said that while he was just a mechanic so couldn't refund me until a manager was in on Monday, that yes I had been lied to by this other guy, who apparently causes no end of problems for co-workers and customers alike.

I was told that my winter tyres were being changed to all-season, now winter and all-season tyres are the same thing this guy explained, there are studded tyres but these are for compacted snow/ice and aren't even sold in the uk as they aren't needed so no way could he confuse the two and refer to these as 'snow tyres', though he thoroughly believed this guy had! Not only that but the apparently all-season tyres my car is now fitted with are summer tyres, so he lied about that as well!

I said I know a lot of people in this country drive on summer tyres all year, but he should know not to call summer tyres 'all-season' as they're a different tyre en-tyre-ly (sorry :D), and he agreed, basically my car will be going in on Monday and will have the two old ones put back on and two new all-season/winter ones fitted.

Obviously I will be getting my £132 back or seven kinds of hell will be unleashed! :T

That sounds promising Kadison but more importantly did you get the mechanic with the lovely ice green eyes number...? ;) :rotfl:

Every cloud has a silver lining, hope you get it sorted without having to unleash the woman from hell. :D

I have a UU to report Alpha-H Liquid Gold 50ml this was just a small trial size I got as a part of a set; despite all the reams of internet space devoted to its greatness I'm still not convinced nor wowed by this product . I have another just like it in the stash so will reserve final judgement for now.
