Car insurance renewal

Hi. For the last ten years I have had a named driver (my ex partner) on my insurance policy. This year on my renewal it will be just me. My ex had several accidents (which resulted in claims on my insurance - one her fault and the other two were the fault of the third party). Now that I am renewing on my own (with just me driving) do I need to inform the insurance company of previous claims on my insurance even though I wasn't in the car at the time. I have spoken to two insurance companies on the phone and they gave me conflicting advice.
Many thanks for any help and advice offered

You do need to disclose these claims (assuming the incidents occurred in the time frame they ask about)0
-
It was YOUR insurance that YOU claimed on because YOUR named driver had accidents.0
