New ISA Limit

Just wanted to confirm that the new ISA limit of 15K from July onwards can be split however you want it to be. For instance you dont have to be 50-50 cash/stocks and shares....you can contribute say 5K into a cash ISA and 10k into a stocks and shares ISA. ie the overall limit is 15k but however you split it is up to you?

That's how I read it0

It is also partly the case now.
You can have £11520 in S&S minus anything you've put in a cash ISA, there is no fixed 50:50 limit unless you put the max in cash.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
