Dodgy Pension Trustee

Davnik, apart from contacting the agencies etc, what steps have you taken to actually try and recover your money and what response did you get?

Is there another forum or site that has any details or information for people who have fallen for this scam?

I have at last had a personal response from Green Footprint (or its parent company, Green Footprint just being a trading name) who are going to pursue Mark Harris. They were not aware of the level of complaints against this trustee. I have been assured by both Eco Quest and Taurus Business Consulting Ltd (Green Footprint) that the investment is legitimate and the funds are safe, although the Green Retirement Fund is no longer offered. I have also been given an update on the recent dividend - this information should of course be forthcoming from Mark Harris in the next few weeks. Hopefully!
It would seem (again hopefully) that rather than a scam Mark Harris is either lazy, incompetent or both. I will keep the thread updated.

Why can they not give you this information direct to you. This sounds like a stalling tactic with each party blaming the other.

Don't be surprised if they subsequently say there is a court action pending and you will have to wait until it is resolved before everything is clarified.

Also to add, the calls to Green Footprint go to a call centre and are then routed to AC Management which would seem to explain why they are never returned.


Hopefully the problem lies with Mark Harris / AC Management and everyone else involved in this sorry business is legitimate.

I an also somewhat disappointed that others who have had problems with AC Management seem to have just whinged on here, rather than taking concrete action through the correct channels. As I say earlier the BBC Watchdog/ Rogue Traders programme are unlikely to respond unless they receive enough complaints about an issue.

Davnik, I have already done the reporting to everyone and anybody and got absolutely nowhere. I even started another pension with a reputable company who have tried twice now to get the money transferred to them, from Mark Harris,after 2 letters (obviously lost in the post) and a telephone call to his office, they were informed that he no longer trades from that address, the new number that his original office gave doesn't come up with anything, nobody knows who is he is.
We are now contacting the Law Society to find out if they know about his dodgy dealings.
We need to approach the TV watchdog type people as a group, so if anybody else out there wants to band together to get some sort of justice, contact me at banthony@globalnet.co.uk

Very sorry to hear of the problems.
Sadly it sounds as if your money has long gone.
How did you get introduced to these people. Was it from adverts, cold calling or a referral.

It was from a telephone call from somebody from "The Pensions Review Company", someone else to watch out for!!

Taurus Business Consulting Ltd (Green Footprint) have continued to keep in touch with me and have informed me that they are summoning Mr Harris to a meeting where they will put my concerns to him. They assure me they will continue to keep me informed. Also they regret it has got to this stage.

Mr Harris has now had 2 transfer requests from Virgin Money but still denies any knowledge of them, lost in the post again, this man is a complete Dic-head, how can he possibly think that we believe that every single letter sent to him or from him gets lost in the post. Is this the way all solicitors act??? Why is nobody prepared to do anything about him, all the Government bodies, Action Fraud and the SRA are not interested.
