spif form - dispute question

Hi all,
We are selling our house and are filling in the spif form.
My neighbour (who I do get on with), had an extention built in 2005. He obtained a grant from the council to do it because of a disabled member of family who lives with him. The council also managed the build and brought in their own contractors.
Part of the build was the conversion of a downstairs room into a shower room. The council's plans provided for sound insulation to block the passage of sound from the bathroom through the party wall. In the original build this was neglected. After friendly discussion with our neighbour, and contact with the council, the insulation was retrofitted and solved the issue.
We had to put up with the noise for several weeks, and therefore tried to claim for compensation from the council which included a written complaint to them. In retrospect we shouldn't have bothered because it wasn't upheld due to the fact that the problem was rectified.
Now the spif asks about disputes and complaints. There was never a 'dispute' with my neighbour as such. There was an issue, brought about by the councils negligence which was resolved and which my neighbour was in agreement with.
The follow up complaint for compensation was not directed at my neighbour but an attempt to get some cash for the disruption from the council.
What should I declare on the SPIF?

Nothing. It's not going to be an issue for your purchasers.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Why not say there was a dispute that has been resolved.
When I bought, the SPIF contained details of a resolved dispute.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. There is no clear definition of a "dispute" but I would think it would certainly include a matter which led you to make a claim for compensation. Compensation is usually a matter where some "damage" has occurred - in this case nuisance, caused by noise.
What does the SPIF ask - disputes with "neighbours" or disputes in relation to "neighbouring property"?If the latter, then you would surely have to declare it?
I would be inclined to declare it anyway, but to confirm that the "dispute" was amicably resolved to the satisfaction of both parties, as Silvercar suggests.

Lucy Skyward, stop wasting valuable space intended for helping people with genuine queries & issues. Your kind of pointless post isn't what the forum is about. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
