    Hi everyone just an update,
Got this e-mail from parking eye this afternoon

We refer to the Parking Charge incurred on 20 March 2014 at 13:02:50, at Bailey Lane, Sheffield car park.

After investigating your appeal it appears that the incorrect vehicle registration was input and this has therefore resulted in the issue of the Parking Charge.

On this occasion as a gesture of goodwill we will be cancelling this Parking Charge. To prevent this situation arising in the future, please ensure the correct vehicle registration details are input.

I guess they didn't want a fight, even though they didn't address any if the issues in the appeal.

Thank you very much for your help guys :)

Hi Carol - That's excellent news. I'm so glad that's over for you so quickly.

The reg. no stuff sounds like a bit of a jackanory side stepping the EA issues but they've been getting a bit of a hammering on that one recently so as you say looks like they didn't want a fight.

Anyway they're out of your hair and that's what counts.

    Best wishes
    CC

Congratulations on your success. What a fab forum this is for all who need it.

I was intrigued by the reason they gave for cancelling the PCN though, suggesting that you had incorrectly I putted your number plate. I didn't see any mention of that in your appeal. What a nonsense reason. Coupon-Mad just had them running scared on your behalf. :T:T:T:T

My number plate was correct so just any reason they used not to admit they are wrong, as I did leave the car park 15 min after it expired because of my son.

    Groupon-mad thank you again

'Groupon-mad' must be the name of a similar poster who is a Crystal Palace fan (Hot Bring will understand that!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
