To give you the opportunity of experiencing this historic event, Celtic Manor Resort, Royal Porthcawl and the three qualifying courses of Southerndown, Pyle & Kenfig and Ashburham, have all joined up to offer a fantastic prize of:
- Two nights' bed and breakfast accommodation for two people (sharing a twin or a double room) at The Celtic Manor Resort hotel.
- A round of golf on either the Roman Road or Montgomerie Course. Use of a buggy on each course. Use of the Forum Health Club's facilities.
- Corporate hospitality at the Senior Open Championship, Royal Porthcawl Golf Club.
- A round of golf at either Ashburnham, Pyle & Kenfig or Southerndown Golf Club.
- Travel to the area is not included, however, travel expenses incurred in order to take up the prize will be reimbursed by Visit Wales to a value of £150 (receipts will be required).
- Tee times must be reserved at the time of booking.
- The break is available 25th – 27th July 2014.

Prize draw terms and conditions:- Entrants must be over 18, not employees of the Welsh Government, Bauer Media, Celtic Manor Resort, Royal Porthcawl, Southerndown, Pyle & Kenfig or Ashburnham Golf Clubs or members of their families or anyone connected with the draw.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
- Entry to the prize draw is free. No purchase is necessary.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw. Incomplete entries and entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible for the prize draw. The Promoter will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
- The Welsh Government will allocate the individual prize to the winner.
- The prize comprises two nights' bed and breakfast accommodation for two people (sharing a twin or a double room) at The Celtic Manor Resort hotel. - All entries to be received by 23.59 hours on 12 June 2014.
- The draw for the tickets will be made on 22 June 2014 and the winner will be informed by e-mail immediately after the draw.
- The name of the winner will be made available after 20 July 2014 and for a further 28 days to anyone sending their e-mail address to Claire Sanders, Welsh Government, at [EMAIL="claire.sanders@wales.gsi.gov.uk"]claire.sanders@wales.gsi.gov.uk[/EMAIL] in a message with the subject heading ‘Win the ultimate golf break in Wales 2014’.
- Prize is non-transferable. No cash or other alternative will be offered.
- The winner agrees to use his/her name and photography in future publicity.
- The judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
