Fifteen points to work plan, Jobcentre Plus

I've finished the work programme and have been told I've to attend weekly appointments in connection with the above.

Can anyone tell me what exactly happens and is it sanction heavy please.

Thanks.

Given that there are a total of six hits on google for "fifteen points to work" - including your post, and none of them are actually relevant - it seems quite likely there isn't.

Do you have any other information?

Post WP support is changing this week, it may already have been rolled out in some areas. It is intended to make sure you are treating your job search as a full time activity. It is not sanction heavy if you follow the requirements to the letter. Try to play them and they can mandate you to sign every day, as well as the usual sanctions.

Assuming that the requirements given are reasonable and even attainable.

I note that last December, 5 out of 6 sanction decisions for JSA that were appealed were overturned.

How long has it been since you were last in paid employment?
That is the main focus for WP returners. Yes new rules from end of April but it only appplies to those who leave end of April too.
For yourself it depends on the answer to the first question, if you have good work history then its pretty much carry on as before. if you havent then you can expect lots of increased amount of jobsearch, lots more adviser support and intervention. More referrals to courses and jobsearch support.
As for sanctions, as the expectations are greater then you need to make sure you are meeting them or you will risk a sanction.

Having been through the Work Programme you must have been receiving benefits for at least three years on and off. So what are you asking?
And what does "sanction heavy" mean - it does come across like how can I just carry on the usual routine...

Within the next few months you are probably looking at daily signing or full on work related activity - read the news.
