Praise for ao.com ( was Appliances Online)

My washing machine broke down on Friday evening. On Saturday morning I had a look at ao.com website for a new one. I also had a look at argos etc but liked the fact that ao.com do free next day delivery (even on a Sunday) - especially since my broken WM had wet school uniform in it!

I posted on their FB site and the help and advice I had from their customer service operator (Rob) on the FB site was brilliant. He even threw in free recycling of my old machine (normally £9.99- not a huge difference, but it all helps).

Having chose my machine, he phoned me and made the whole process very smooth and easy.

The delivery was second to none! I had a text that evening to tell me my 4 hours delivery slot (10am-2pm). Then today I logged into the 'track my order' link and it gave me an estimated time of 10.45am-12.45pm.

The delivery man also called me to tell me when they were 30mins away! They turned up at 11am and were very friendly, did the job very quickly and efficiently (disconnected and took away my old machine, installed my new machine).

I have never ordered from ao.com before, but I would highly recommend them to anyone after my experience today

Can only agree. I've used them twice now and been impressed by the service. It is good to have weekend deliveries for those of us who work full time and don' want to use all of our annual leave for deliveries.

As said before used them loads before and will continue to do so. Doesn't take a lot does it what they do, seems other companies think some of that is a little too much

Agreed. I got a fridge, freezer and WM from them. All delivered together within a few days on the day of my choice.

I even took their WM insurance.. I must be crazy!

I posted something very similar a few days ago - they've pretty much hit the nail on the head with the service (so far, anyway)
