Harwood Investments offering 15%

Has anyone had experiance of these kind of investments. I ask as there in no mention of anything about capital is safe with the invesment.

    If the capital was safe why would Harewood need to offer 15%??? They could borrow the money from a bank for less.

    That is because it is not safe. 100% loss is possible.

    Do not mistake private companies offering guarantees with financial services guarantees. The latter are backed up with assets and schemes to ensure the guarantees are real. The former is only as good as when the company is trading.

    There are some things to ask yourself about financing schemes. If the base rate is 0.50% and a business loan could be got for 2-3% above base rate, why would they need to offer 15% if it is such a good deal?
