GE Money Card - Declined on purchase Again

Once more, I've attempted to use my GE Money card to purchase something and the cashier has told me 'Computer Says No!". This time it was Diesel at an Asda supermarket.
This is about the 6th time I've had this happen since getting the GE Money card 12 months ago. It's a joke. I've never had any of my other cards declined.
On the phone for 12 minutes in a queue to their 0870 CS line, to eventually be answered by an overseas call center, who had a dodgy/crackling headset.
She attempted to blame the 'entire mastercard network', which I said was a load of rubbish, as I'd subsequently paid for my diesel with a Mint Mastercard. Her story changed to 'they were aware of techinical difficulties that evening and their IT staff were looking into'. She suggested I 'tried the transaction again in 24hrs' - What fill up the car again the next day?
Being polite, but still very annoyed, I told them that apart from missing out on the cashback, the 0870 phone call costing me £1+ (more than the cashback was worth), having the embarrassment of feeling like I've stolen the card or have credit problems. I had that little confidence in their card that I won't be risking taking it away on holiday with me in a couple of weeks time, as there's no guarantee it would work.
Her answer, was that she'd pass on my comments to their complaints department. :rotfl:
I've read before of people being offered £10 credit for similar complaints but like I say, this is about the 6th time its happened and I've always complained, but nothing ever gets done about it.
I'd tell them where to stick the card, but the 3% cashback is just so attractive, WHEN IT WORKS.

Hiya
HAve they replaced your card at all? Have you tried to use your card say over the net or as a mail order ie telephone order? If it still gets declined im thinking its a problem with their systems rather than the card.

No, same old card with 2 years left on the expiry and I never use this card for internet transactions, only for food and petrol (3% cashback). I last used it on Sunday for a supermarket shop and it was fine.
I'm starting to think they regret offering 3% cashback on food and petrol so they randomly decline stuff to avoid paying out.0 -
I personally would dump it - who needs that hassle? However, you might try whoever deals with their complaints - it will be in the t&c somewhere. This is usually distinct from the ordinary customer services number.0

Dump them. You'll spend more on your time and phone calls than the 3%.
For future reference, use https://www.saynoto0870.co.uk
Some times you can find either the landline number which means they don't
make any money from your call, and in some cases you'll be able to find an 0800 free number.0
