Waiting for aubergine seeds and courgettes to plant.
Lovely sunny day today and the fields and trees in our village looking really green and lush.

Evening to All :hello:
Happy Mothers Day to all the mummy's!
It has been a lovely day, weather has been a little overcast compared to yesterday but still sunny and warm so got another load of washing out and dried. We have had my Mum&Dad up + MIL&FIL across and we made scampi & chips. I also made a victoria sponge this morning and added some icing flowers on which was yummy.
Treated both mum's to a selection of gifts in a bag, including some raw honey from the local farmers market yesterday, bath goodies, a nail file and buffing block, homemade fudge, a aromatherapy scented candle, bath bombs and some special tea bags
Me and OH had a quick tidy round, went for a walk whilst it was stil light (was after 8pm) and are now showered and just about to relax with a cuppa, once I have finished babbling here
Knitted scarf is almost finished and I have then seen arm knitting, I don't know if anyone else has seen this? But you can make a full scarf in 30mins and they look fab so going to get some thick wool this week and have a go.
Happy Sunday EveningChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -
Been a busy Mothering Sunday, phone calls and long chats from the "children" in London, Cork and Perth, Chinese takeaway dinner with DS3, DD4, DDIL2, and grandsons 1&2, been a lovely day but I am now soooo tired....bed soon I think.
Its been an overcast day but a temperature of 13c is not to be sneezed at, hope that it lasts for a few days.
Hope that all mothers have had a happy day.
Hello to those of you whom I have not met before and welcome back to "returners"....not sure if thats a word, but you get my drift.
Sleep well all

I hope all of the Mums had a good day today, and if you no longer have a Mum around you, gave a wee thought to the lady who gave you all life.
I lost my lovely Mum back in 1962 but I still think of her on Mother's Day.I was thoroughly spoilt by my two smashing DDs and had a great day.they both spent far too much money on treating me and even tonight after youngest DD and I had come home from our walk along the front at Herne Bay with the boys and the dogs my son-in-law cooked us both a lovely dinner and the boys washed up so we both had nothing to do today:):)
My brother phoned me from France and said he is coming over for a visit in May so I'm really looking forward to that, and my dear niece whom I haven't seen few several years is also coming over for a visit later this year from Mexico where she has lived since 1974.
Lots of good things to look forward to this year:):)
Weird still being light this evening though wasn't it.Beautiful day though, and we had a lovely long walk along the front at the coast. Its only just over half an hour from where I live so whenever the weather is good its a great place for walking the dogs
The boys had 50p each to play the slots and actually came out with 70p profit:)
We had an ice cream and sat in the sun for awhile. There is nothing like the English seaside to cheer you up and make you smile.I love people watching and DD and I sit and try to work out who is matched to who and why:):)
All in all a great day and the boys enjoyed themselves, the youngest Mikey has to see the Dr tomorrow as he has had a nasty cough for a fortnight now and cough mixture's not shifting it.So I will trundle him up there tomorrow morning if I can get an appointment.
Right time for bed and a read before I hit the land of Nod
Good night God Bless all here
