Heads up for end date compers

Just going through my usual end of month last minute rush,
and ive noticed that ALREADY there are OVER 300 comps:eek: ENDING 30TH APRIL...
So im guessing by 27/8th april there will be the highest amount of the year which as end daters will know would be very tricky to do them all in the last day or two of the month.
Maybe start them in first week of april as start of month is quietest for comping.
Not seen that many ending for following month since last year.

Wow, I'm amazed... I'd never expected April to be so high - more and more companies are jumping on the social media bandwagon, so maybe that helps...

Youre right jess,
especially good ole 'Raffiecopta' seems to be more and more every week.

(its a total of 18 pages X 20 = 360)
For anyone unsure of how to get your list to show everything in descending date order -

That starts you at the first page of comps ending april 30th (page 90)
and goes all the way down to page 72!!!!!
(go DOWN the pages 90, 89, 88, and so on.... not 91, 92 etc...)

I only switched from end dating in January this year - before that I always worked doing ending - and ive been comping since 2005! :eek:
Sometimes I got a bit ahead, but more often than not was doing ending that day each day, and last day of month was always a massive rush - very often didn't get to finish all the last day of month ones before they finished, or I ended up skipping not so big prizes in order to get through them on time!

Very glad to not be rushing through anymore - I seem to have so much more time now to do more comps like mag dailys, clickys etc that I never would have been able to do before! :T

Could never go back to end date comping now! lol

I advise same - start doing the ending end of april, early on in month bit by bit or you will be struggling lol x

I was an end dater, currently up to date but going back to end dater as I've got it in my head that I win more if I comp by end date.

Keep April 30th up to date at least.

I try and do a few of the end of the month comps as I go along, but March 31st has masses too.

As some of you know ive always been an end dater, and its worked for me, but
over the last couple of months there are more and more comps, so now not only am i being more selective (only entering mainly for prizes £200+ - which cuts down frequency of wins) but im starting to shift away from end dating.

Its getting too much to do so hopefully by end of april I can get well in front and do what many of you do enter as they come on.
I did about 6-8 pages on thursday of literally whatever came on - some not finishing until june.

Now going to have to sit comping for hours tonight and tomorrow to get 31/03 done:eek:
