10% except during promotional periods such as Christmas when it goes up to 20% usually :D

One other thing I'm wondering about CF - how are they calculating your accuracy on any given job, cause I'm 5 completed tasks into this Product match job, I've got all but 1 question in 50 correct, yet my accuracy is 93%, how'd they work that one out:huh:

An error in the system, or is it programmed deliberately that way, cause I've noticed in the past the accuracy rate dropping quite dramatically because of one wrong answer.

You should read the #3 or #4 post on the first page of this thread. There is lots of information there about test questions, which are what determine your accuracy x

Let me know if that doesn't answer your question.

I think there's an error in the system, I've seen other people complain elsewhere about this recently. I was in touch with CF support last week about my accuracy not adjusting properly and they said "were are currently experiencing a bug which is causing the accuracy percentage to not properly update"
My issue wasn't the same as yours but i guess they are having issues with how accuracy is logged on tasks generally.

lol... The whole site is a mess of bugs at the moment.

But if the accuracy drop was because of Quiz Mode (at the start of a task) - they don't count towards your overall accuracy anyway. The only thing thats effected is your ability to carry on in that task.
And if not quiz mode, your global accuracy will only have accumulated 1 more wrong test question to your stats (When you hover your mouse over your accuracy % you see the number of test questions that comprise that global accuracy figure) so the % on that individual task won't have any impact.

They definitely have other issues with their test questions/accuracy though. The number of test questions I had done dropped a week or two ago (as it did for other people) and despite having done tasks that should have added more test questions to my total, it hasn't budged since!
    Very odd...

But, hey ho... it'll get fixed... eventually... thank goodness the weather is nice- I'm gonna carry on dodging CF (apart from casino tasks) until they get their act together.... like a CF holiday. :)

My ip address changes when I switch off my router so that would happen anyway. Often we will move our router from upstairs to downstairs, depending on where we're using the laptop. People's ip addresses will be changing all the time.

Hi Bryan, not everyone's... I've switched off or reset my router multiple times since i moved here and I've always had the same IP. In fact, I switched off my router v recently... just checked my IP and its still the same. I'm with Sky too... perhaps some people have static IPs?

Just saying in case anyone relies on this.. best to check that your IP does what Bryans does if you're counting on it working that way.

I do sometimes do the same survey twice, but only when its given to me on different sites. Usually I'm halfway into it before I realise its a bit too familiar. I don't think i've been offered the same survey on one site yet... I've never gotten an ipoll survey on CS, so i stopped trying - filling in my details every time is a faff. :)

I do have a question though, when people get disqualified from a task and you see others have written the same reason, do you guys raise tickets? or do you just leave it?

I upvote it, and sometimes they go back and change the accuracy. That happens most often on new tasks.

If it's two things in a row that are obviously wrong and I get DQ'd, I turn in a ticket.
