  • I am also trying to open a business account but I'm struggling to find someone to open it an account with I live in a rural area I do not drive which makes it quite difficult to go into a branch to open one when anyone says suggest an online account please thank you

    If you're able to get to a Post Office, some banks allow you to pay in and withdraw there, if that helps your issues!

    It is best to be up front with your bank right from the start. The OP might have burned his/her bridges with this bank with regard to having a long-term business relation with them. If the Op thinks this is the case, then it might be worthwhile to start over with another bank and this time be totally up front about the purpose of the account right from the start.
