Student Account Overdraft Charges

I have a student account with Lloyds TSB. This allows you to have an interest-free overdraft of upto £1500. On a few occasions I've exceeded this amount, for a short period of time.

Lloyds TSB charge £30 each day that you exceed the allowed overdraft amount, upto a maximum total of £90 per month.

I've have been charged only around £270 in the last year; a relatively small sum in comparison to others that I've read about.

My question, therefore, is, is it worth sending out a letter to the bank to reclaim these charges? Does the fact that the total amount is relatively small mean that its not worth the hassle? Or, conversely, does it mean that the banks are more likely to pay?

Any help would be much appreciated!
