making money isn't a crime, it is the way they go about it trampling on everyone and everything, with no regard for anybody and that includes their employees. One of my pals works for them and some of the stories she tells me makes my blood boil.

    THEY'RE A BUSINESS!!!

They're not going to say "excuse me mr Farmer but would you mind dropping your prices please?" - they'll make the farmers an ultimatum - pay the very low price we're offering or we'll drop you as a supplier.

The business practices they use are masterful and people should admire them instead of slag them off. Land banks for example. Tesco apparently own millions of £ worth of land, just to stop other supermarkets building on it. It's ruthless but noone would complain if Sainsburys did it! Just very good business practice.

My Tesco 'local' milk comes from a farm 9 miles from the supermarket.

That's probably one of the closest I would guess.

I've worked for them for 4 years and had no problems. I haven't come across any problems and have worked in many stores and in many formats.
