Euro Disney

We are travelling to Spain by car at the end of the month, and thought it would be nice to stop at Euro Disney on the way.
I would appreciate any hints or tips on saving a bit of money here, as all I can find are deals where you stay at the disney hotels. There have to be better prices than the ones I have seen so I thought I would ask for recommendations on hotels nearby.
Also tickets - anyone know where I can save a bit? And generally in the park itself - How expensive is it?
Thanks
Jo

Hi I went to Euro Disney a couple of years ago and stayed at a hotel about half an hour away from Disny. I went with Bakers at the time and can't remember the name of the hotel we stayed in. Maybe find out about trips via your local travel agent(but dont book it) and ask which hotel they use. The one I went on was a coach trip and was a cheap weekend-about "100 for adult and about £60 for child. Otherwise, do a google on hotels in the outskirts of Paris I think it was an Ibis hotel. Possibly Hotel Roissy.
Ive done a search and come up with this site if its any help.

Apart from the entrance fee, the only area I found where you had to pay, was the Holywood Studios area near the entrance. I found food to reasonable(about the price of a KFC) and areas where you could get free drinknig water. You can pay to leave luggage in a luggage area just inside the entrance and there are also lockers(often not working or available). Be prepared to stay until midnight to see the fantastic light display! Fireworks also. I do have a webpage dedicated to my visit and when I find the link, I will post it for you-hope that helps!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -

If you don't mind Basic motel with a capital B, there are a couple of Formule une motels nearby which have 3 bedded rooms for 29 euros a room. One is very close and full of people going to disney; the breakfast is ok, the main drawback for me was the toilets and showers which were superloo style and down the corridor from the room. But super cheap.
This is the one we stayed at-http://http://www.hotelformule1.com/formule1/fichehotel/gb/for/2461/fiche_hotel.shtml0 -
Saw an ad in the paper tonight for Bakers Dolphin trip to Disneyland Paris staying at the Hotel Campanile Bussey St George about 10 mins from Disny(probably further than they say from experience). Worth a look I should think. The ad also states the entrance fee as Adult £29 and hild £25.
I just tried the above link and get sent elsewhere-I edited it and it worked- try this.....

We found it was cheaper to book the hotel and the ticket seperately, even if you were staying onsite at Disney.
if you are staying 4 days or more it may also be cheaper to get an annual pass, that will give you discounts off of food and merchdise.0 -
Thanks Amy
