ATOS quits contract.

Seems the Financial Times has got the story first again.
ATOS has pulled out with an undisclosed financial settlement from the taxpayer.

From what I read, they did not get a financial settlement, they had to pay the British government in order to get out of the contract.

    BTW it's old news recycled.

That's what I would have thought, if you wish to leave a contract with a fixed term, then you have to pay to get out of it, not the other way round. if the government wished to out Atos then we as tax payers would have to pay Atos to go.

Thats correct from what i have read too, ATOS have had to pay a penalty to be released from the contract early, not the other way round.
