I have a iPod dock,I got it when I had an iPhone. I have since changed to a non apple phone.
Does anyone know of any adapter where I can plug my phone in to the dock to listen to music?

From my experience even Apple iPod docks are not compatible with all Apple products, let alone Android et al.
I'd suggest using a Bluetooth Speaker with your phone.
Now then now then, it would appear that you can get Blutooth adapters that plug into your ipod dock so you can use it with any Smartphone.
Worth a look.

Most iPod docks also have a 3.5mm line in socket so that you can connect any device with a headphone socket to it. If this is the case for yours you just need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable0

But if you're asking for something that will also charge your phone whilst docked .... no (probably. At least not in the one device anyway).0

Everything is better with Bluetooth.

I wasn't expecting to be able to charge it but will look into the Bluetooth option and the headphone jack option. Thanks!0

If you were really keen, you could cut the plug off a 30-ping dock extension cable, and then attach a 3.5 plug to pins 2 (audio ground) 3 and 4 (audio right and left) and then take a micro-USB plug's ground to pins 15 and 16 and and USB power to pin 23. Then you'd have a cable which you could connect to the dock via a 30-pin flying socket, and to your phone via a USB charge connector and line out.
Chances of blowing everything up: very high. Soldering those sort of small connectors is really hard.
