I use lookout on my phone but only for the tracking it offers.
Unless you install dodgy files from unknown sources then you dont really need one.
I have my doubts as to how good the AV apps are. Will it know the difference between a genuine app and the same app thats been downloaded off a dodgy site with extra code that shares your data?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Well I've got Avast on my tablet and phone, which seems to work fine, but it's never found any problems anyway.
I have the anti-theft feature activated, and when I recently changed the SIM card on the phone, Avast got very excited, sending me texts and marking the phone as "Stolen" on the Avast website.
I just had to log in and mark it as "Found".
I've also got Malwarebytes on both, but that's probably a bit OTT for Android.
But they don't cause any problems on there anyway.0 -
I have MBAM on my phone. Not bothered with an AV though.0

Avast is one and current preference as it does more is for 360 safe0

I switched from Avast to AVG recently after Avast decided that everything on the tablet was a virus and tried to delete it. I'm not at all sure that they do anything useful, but at least they don't get in the way or pop up unwanted invitations to upgrade.0

I use AVG 2014, it does all that it says on the tin. Always was an Avast fan but it conflicted with some of my banking sites so I deleted it and AVG does it for meIf youcan lie down at night knowing in your heart that you just made someone’s day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day!!0

Can you translate that into English please?
AVAST is one free AV .
I prefer the new 360 SAFE as its more than just AV.
