Council Issued Ticket

Hi All, previously and currently getting help with PE PCN's which so far has be great in particular from C-Mad.
Anyway a while back I unsuccessfully appealed a council issued ticket for 'parking on a clearway'. I have now received the NTO and have to make my representations.
I already hear people thinking why didn't you just pay at the discounted rate, well let me explain. It was issued early December at a time local councils were criticised in the news for issuing tickets to make money. That, and my confusion over the ticket lead me to appealing.
I parked on a side street, just under the end sign. My understanding was it ended as soon as i turned on the side street and provided I wasn't parked too close to the junction i'd be OK. It appears not, the letter they sent me stated they '.sometimes extend into side streets to keep junctions clear'.
This particular side street the sign was some 10-15 meters from the junction whereas on adjoining side streets it was much closer to the junction. None of them are strategically placed and all share their sign with street lights, telegraph poles and the like.
Anyone made successful representations to the council before? And is it better these should be presented a particular format or should I just upload photos and word it in my not so great wring style?
Look forward to your replies

Yes try https://www.pepipoo.com for this, they will need to see both sides of your PCN , what you used as an appeal and their rejection. Redact personal information and use tinypic.com to upload images too. Place the links into the new thread you create. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Not from me - and never on pepipoo! Post a copy of all documents (including the small print on the back of the entire PCN) in a new topic here:I already hear people thinking why didn't you just pay at the discounted rate

The Council's discount is IMHO a bribe. Most people don't realise that most appeals are won at formal or adjudication stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
