Morning all. I've been to W this morning, shelf was bare for the fairy washing capsules. But I got 4 packs of cheese for £10, then will get £3.50 casahback so not too bad. Got loads of bargains too, they reduced loads of stuff with today's date on. Bread from £1.59 to 49p. So I got 3 and was overcharged on the last one. They refunded the full amount at CS so free bread :T not sure if that is their policy or she made a mistake. Yummy mussels for tea with crusty ciabatta bread (A glitchy v T):D

Off to catch up (with my free W coffee):rotfl:

I can defo recommend hosting students if you are after some extra cash. It's easy work and easy money. The only downside is the loss of privacy. I don't speak any other languages (only the very little French I remember from school) we manage fine though. It's amazing what can be translated through gestures lol. If that fails then there is always a translator app :rotfl:
Summer is always the busiest time for hosting so if you register with a school your sure to have lots of interest x

Is there a specific site you register for this please? Really interested, thanks

can you all send positive thoughts to ds3 he finds out whether he gets to do marine engineering next year today, he is a bit upset as he thinks he did not do well in the interview, ok with college said all the things his big brother told him to ;) but school keeps telling him to do history, and he hates history and told teacher that he thinks he needs to know enough about the past to not make the same mistakes in the future... and when asked what will help him in the future he said " when he is on the lifeboats (which he wants to do ) or on his own boat in bad weather, engine cuts out, storm getting worse, he can either check the engine and get it going or quote every king and queen to rule Britian.. "
He realises now he talks without thinking and could have been less cocky:o:o so he thinks he may not get a place:(
    Sending positive thoughts:)

    Hi Mrs S,

Yesterday I bought a £10 meal deal and a £6 meal deal, went to self scan, put all the food thru, and then scanned my green redeem voucher. The food had come to £29.34, and when I then hit finish and pay, it deducted the £5 voucher, then the £6 meal deal excess and then the £10 meal excess leaving me £10.50 to pay( I thought it would be £11).:j

Main thing to remember is to scan your green redeem BEFORE hitting finish and pay. Hope that helps.

Thank you babe, I thought i had to scan before pressing finish and pay. Thanks for confirming.
Wahey, I'm off shopping, I've got my eyes on one of those rotisserie chickens :D

    Morning :)
I'm in Cambridge, it's student central round here most of the year so the schools are always crying out for host families. I found most of my schools in the local papers where they advertised. Then I just rang up and gave them my details. They send someone round to check out the house and normally sign you up on the spot. Where about's are you? Do you know of any language schools in your area? If you do then give them a ring and say your interested in becoming a host family :)
