Mrs_stinkface wrote: »It must be the week for it dodo, I was supposed to have 2 students arrive yesterday. I rang the school yesterday morning to check as I hadn't heard any arrival times and they knew nothing about them. I thought maybe I had muddled my schools up as I'm registered with a few and none of them knew anything.
I find it hard to believe I imagined 2 Italian boys showing up and staying for a week, I'm really annoyed as I has a school on the phone at the weekend pleading with me to put 2 up for a week. I turned them down as I thought I was booked

Good Evening All.
I don't live near a Tosca but on my travels being taxi driver to a teenager I passed one, It would have been rude not to pop in and I found a 1p item. I got quite excited and couldn't get to the till quick enough. :j
It is this http://www.tesco.com/direct/scotch-magic-tape-dispenser-dog/618-3795.prd There was only one left on the shelf so I got it for my pressie box.
The SEL was white and said NEW 1p!RISEABOVEHATE

Not all the time no, I'm here in the morning before they go to school and again for dinner at 6pm. Most short stay students have such busy schedules that more often than not they are busy most nights. Weekends are always trips to London, Oxford etc.
we've had a few teething problems with students but as far as I'm aware nothing had ever been taken from us. Helping themselves to food is the only moan I would have, I normally ask that if they are hungry to ask for something rather than just take it. Most students we have tend to snack on crisps, choc etc which they buy from the local shops thoughLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Comparison total (compared products only)£21.39£23.23:(As if it weren't clear(:rotfl:), I don't really like those £2 cereals. Nightmare.
They do know their timing on buying certain items don't they?:rotfl: Just really amusing, that they decide now is the time to go for the Fairy Clove:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: . Btw, if I had not already got enough Fairy WUL, some Fairy 870ml ones are on £1.33 in M (Avs M) - would be fairly good absent a glitch. Well, maybe I can manage a further one bottle:o.
Another one I had tonight - they got 3 Feasters (chicken sandwich type things), 2 of them different, and fell for the 3 for £4 offer:T:T:T. Well, if they can't buy things that compare to elsewhere cheaper, I'd rather they filled the shop up with non-comp items instead. Nowhere else stocks them as Feasters. Sadly, they went and put some chocolates, including the 4 pack Flake yet again:mad::mad: in their shop and thus lost it all:(. With all the items that are less expensive elsewhere, you could have thought they could have bought some of them surely?:(:(:wall::rotfl::rotfl:
I also had, on another receipt, the Walkers 20 pack combo. They picked one that would have been cheaper at the 'best' competitor, but then they put it with Walkers Cheese & Onion (a previous trigger) which duly appeared on the comp and removed any APG again! Again, they just know when to buy.0 -
Goodnight all.
Getting an early night in before a busy weekend.
Have set my alarm for 12.15am to take my tablet. Afraid I succumbed to a chocolate bar after 10pm.
I have to be decent for 8am , as my new fridge is arriving. :j:j:j0
