when I look on msm at savvy buys I think of you and say to myself- " no savvy would not buy" :p

Good evening one and all!:) Loads of catching up to do and lots to reply to, again, starting here. Sadly those glitches I was looking for didn't materialise - but last time (year(s) ago:D) didn't some of them start two days later and then continue:think: so keep an eye out for anything strange on any wombles - I am sure you will do! The other cheese (Cathedrals) - didn't they glitch when the 2 for £5, as it was back then, was showing throughout, to my surprise? So who knows, may start happening or maybe it is a false alarm again. Grrr:rotfl: - I should have going back and forth and shopping throughout the middle of the night, when the mbuys were off, and they were off for somewhat longer than before the 'big glitch'. Maybe they were off too late - I noticed them after 1am but maybe it needs to be around midnight for the APG to catch them and perhaps they were on then, before I noticed them? Anyway...

You are absolutely right about those "savvy" buys - some of them (in fact sometimes almost all of them:eek:) are ridiculous in the sense of way too expensive. Savvy buy indeed:(. The Shloers - I wanted them to stay at 2 for £3 and not see them at "savvy buy" £1.10:(. As for that being a "savvy buy" - and do I wrongly equate 'savvy' with meaning always the lowest price and anything above isn't 'savvy' or does it really mean having the 'information' and 'knowledge' behind things to know when to go for them and not? (in which case, surely no-one rational would go for them when they are more expensive than the low? Or maybe I miss the point) - the Shloers have previously been 89p in M and hopefully meaning about 80p via the APG - so, for something 30p more than that:eek: to qualify as being "savvy"? No it ain't!:rotfl:

And they're talking about buying them at the straight £1.10 price (like I did:rotfl:) and not comparing them at all:eek: to get anything cheaper. At least in a sense I didn't lose further on the failures to glitch, as even without the glitch they were still all not 10% cheaper. I wouldn't have been too happy if I had ended up with a £1.10 vs say a £1.50 each elsewhere (which may have been good if the payments of £1.10 had shown at something higher than £1.50 and then compared to £1.50). I ended up with the Shloers at about £1 each:eek: and having to have bought two of them. What is gained one way seems to be given back another, and I end up with straight 10% rather than glitch prices across the board. I'm aiming for the latter:D.

    Oh well.

Some of the 'savvy buys' though.... For example in Mr A, Crisp n Dry Veg Oil at £2 is now marked as a 'savvy buy' when it has just come off 2 for £3 so has actually just increased in price!! I've seen £8 washing powder in S that was priced (mispriced?:D) at £4 on msm and fortunately in S too (when I stocked up on it spending a BM to buy it!), the £4 was marked as a savvy buy and yet it continued to be marked as a savvy buy even when it went to £8 (probably the price they intended)! But I don't see a £4 price increase as a savvy buy!:rotfl: Even with it priced at £14:eek::eek: elsewhere!

Some of the "top" offers as well - just ridiculous! In Waitrose on msm at the moment, apparently 27 Penguin is a "top offer" at £4.29:eek::eek::eek: as it has 5% cashback off! This product has gone down to £2 offer in Mr T not so long ago. They seem to mark items now as "top offers" simply when they have 5% msl on them, doubtless funded by the manufacturers who see traffic to msm as another way of selling their products - and it is, it is all a form of promotion. You need to take up the promotions that leave them out of pocket though!:D Be selective. Anyone - so, do you want 5% off £4.29 - is that a 'top offer'? Or would you rather buy the product straight at £2 and with no 5% back? Seems obvious to me which I'd go for!!:D:rotfl::rotfl:

[Edit: in fact the Penguin 27 is now back at £2.14 in T. Could be a good filler for a Tvs A shop for example, and esp. if helping reach cond. spend. Sains. stopped stocking them, only after I'd BM'd them to T several times before that:rotfl:. Yet it is a "top offer" in Waities at £4.29?] In fact you could still have the 5% on the purchase in T - but obviously not as much 5% on £2.14 as it would have been on £4.29:eek: that sees you far worse off overall.

This calculation, to me, is savvy buying!!:j:j And it therefore can also have that big letter S as well:D.

Are you signed in on the app? Using home wii fi?
You could try removing the app and then reinstalling.

I've reinstalled and disconnected from the wi-fi and it's letting me enter more now, just not the original one :(

Looks like I'll be returning a few bits from that receipt

The one that said you had hit the monthly limit is now dead I'm afraid. :(

Best thing to do is reinstall the app every so often, don't log in and don't use same ip address.

Unless it has changed with the recent update, the app has not enforced a limit when logged out. That is why I have never logged in in the app.

The app itself just says an error has occurred and doesn't show a voucher value. It only said I'd hit the limit once I tried it on the PC

It must be the week for it dodo, I was supposed to have 2 students arrive yesterday. I rang the school yesterday morning to check as I hadn't heard any arrival times and they knew nothing about them. I thought maybe I had muddled my schools up as I'm registered with a few and none of them knew anything.
I find it hard to believe I imagined 2 Italian boys showing up and staying for a week, I'm really annoyed as I has a school on the phone at the weekend pleading with me to put 2 up for a week. I turned them down as I thought I was booked

    Cheers bubbs :T
Just ordered lil stink a ben Sherman top for 95p :j

Oh no thats crazy how can the not find your booking, are they looking in to it? Could you not call the other school and see if they still need somewhere?

DH and I were looking at maybe putting up students in our new house as it's a lot bigger and we have the space, would you recommend it? But we dont speak any languages only a small amount of German!

Glad that you enjoyed it. My DGD loves 'Go ape'. Did you try it? You should have arranged to have a picnic with with Tinyshoes, Dodo, marrbett and Truffle Hunter.

A picnic at GO APE with nerfy. Not on your nelly.:rotfl:

I haven't met marrbett yet MKS, think TH has. It's usually nictrinwyn that joins us for coffee at JL. ;)

I still can't log in. I notice an absence of any links to their site in the emails, do we think that is ok?

Notice the OP has been moved to discount codes and someone has mentioned no padlock on payment page. I did see one but not the usual one I see. Have had a payment confirmation from WorldPay. Not heard of them before. :o
