It's a sin to do fried eggs in olive oil.

Use olive oil and yes extra virgin for everything except eggs in our house. :p

Why is that? basically it is a top quality veg oil, I would and do drink olive oil but wouldn't bog standard veg oil!:p

Oh FC you have made me feel so much better I have only tried it once. And that was total disaster. :o

Mr TS says I must learn.

I went camping with a group of girls once and my friend had to be my man and fry the eggs in the morning. :rotfl:

Tut.....what's the point of learning new skills at our age? :p my life hasn't been blighted by a lack of egg frying skills. I'm actually quite scared of frying pans. All that hissing and spitting :rotfl:

Just don't taste right to us cooked in olive oil. It is a distinct flavour. I know veg oil not as good for you but it is just a different taste. Wouldn't cook a pancake in olive oil either, or eggy bread.

Use olive oil for most things just not anything egg based.
