I never did find any :(

    Possibly just in extra stores?

Ironing, I do so little these days and it's great. No more school uniforms. My own businesswear drip dries, and no ironing required :)

Sneaked a few Divine white & strawberry hearts passed the eagle eyed SA today-usually avoid 1p ing when she's on duty, as she's taken 1p things off me in the past!

May have to go again this evening....... :D

Perhaps Im getting mixed up. Thought FD was first direct lol.
Or maybe it is the TSB account Im thinking of. Im sure I saw a message from someone saying they set up this account easily and someone mentioned they set up 6 accounts for themselve and 6 for oh and funded each with £2000 and then put in the same £500 each month for a while and got 5 or 6% interest. Maybe Im dreaming :rotfl:

    Evening all
    Hope everyone is ok.

I haven't been on since before the weekend, I've been crazy busy as usual. Apologies if I've missed anyone's birthday x

Thought I would pop on and post some bargains that halfords have. Prob not everyone's cup of tea but all the "me to you" range is being discontinued. Here's a link to some
    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchCmd?srch=Me+to+you&action=search&storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&langId=-1
There are also car mats (set of 4) available in stores but not online. Reduced from £29.99 to £10.
Some of the items are on a Bogof as well

No chance of catching up properly but I'm off for a skim.
Love and hugs to all x

i got some last time it was half price and agree with classy chick its good for the price and have used it for lots of things boys like it with philli inside then wrapped in bacon I am veggie so cant comment on taste but always gets eaten

Gosh my head is spinning with all these savings things.
Is it right that I can open 6 FD current accounts and put £2000 in each and have to put in £500 a month in each one for a moment and then will get 5% interest

Also would setting up DD from a halifax reward account to feed the FD account(s), does that count as a DD to get the £5 a month reward?

    tia :)

i am glad i am not the only confused person.:p I have 1 bank account opened when i started work when i was 15 and a building society account, everything left over at the end of the month goes in the building society, the only investing we do is antique clocks :rotfl:which oh restores and we have about 30 he says its our nest egg :D really dont want him to buy anymore espeacily the grandfather clocks..

so now thinking should look into bank accounts as feeling I am left behind,
