Thanks to Karlie and her financial expertise, I have now opened a Nationwide Flex account for myself and also another one for my DH. Just have to wait now for the paperwork.

Also, Tesco have just very kindly donated a free £16.78 joint of silverside beef to the TBW slush fund.

    The week has started well.

Don't forget to do your R85 paperwork if you are non tax payers - they can give you the forms in the BS or you might be able to download them from the direct.gov website.
Nothing more annoying then having to reclaim tax if you forget to do the R85 :D

New TSB account: how to make £600 a year

TSB has hit the headlines with the launch of its new Plus current account promising 5% interest on balances of £2,000, worth £100 a year, but a Moneywise investigation has found how couples can get six times that.

    http://www.moneywise.co.uk/news/2014-03-13/new-tsb-account-how-to-make-600-year?utm_source=Newsletter2014-04-07&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=ContentPromotion

so in theory you could go to the TSB bank on the 1st of the month armed with £500 and put it in one account, withdraw it and then do the same with the other 5 accounts? I suppose its one way of using up a wet lunchtime :D

Could someone tell me how much the mullers work out at each please, as I have no where near enough mental agility to work it out. Thank you :D
