Npower keep calling me

Options
Over the last few days, I've had several calls from Npower. I've not been home to answer and they don't leave a message, but I googled the number and found that it's the number that calls you when you start a switch and they ring to try and entice you to stay with them.

However, I haven't started a switch from them (will do in a few weeks though) - are they now pre-empting switches by calling people before they even consider switching. I would have thought most companies are hoping you don't notice you're going to be switched to their more expensive standard tariff, so although they send you the info in the post, I wouldn't expect them to keep calling you.

The whole thing's quite ironic considering how many people are trying to contact them (me not included - I've actually had no problems with them!).

Anyone else had them call them, out the blue, and answered - what did they want? Was it about your tariff coming to an end soon? Or had you applied to switch?
