The Pegasus2 is preconfigured as a RAID 5 array, giving you 6TB of storage to play with, and using the other 2TB to protect against drive failure. But if you wish, you can reconfigure it as RAID 0, 1, 6 or 10, giving up to 8TB in capacity and varying levels of security.
