Being of the dinosaur /luddite persuasion myself, I'm probably comping in much the same way as when you were here before.
I do manage the odd rafflecopter, and have finally ventured reluctantly onto facebook, but twitter is still very much a foreign country - they do things differently there.
(Which may help explain why my win count has gone down to approximately one every 3 months.)

Welcome back
Main difference I notice since I started comping in 2006, is that I'm winning far less these days..... Sign of the times I think - economic climate means that more people are entering...
Mind you, as I'm currently jobless at least I'm catching up on comps !Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20100 -
Out of interest, do people win much on twitter? I've noticed there's a lot more twitter competitions, but I've also seen people saying that they're stopping doing them as they're not worth it.
How are you folks finding twitter on the prize front? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I've won twice on Twitter, and those were the "first 10 people to reply get it" ones, so they were tiny. One was a videogame figure, and the other was a metal case for a game that didn't come with the game itself.
Never won on the 'retweet this' ones, and in fact haven't won a sausage this year at all.
My most successful year was the year Microsoft did their Bing Snap thing. Won over £2,000 in John Lewis vouchers, and loads of other things from others like a Nintendo Wii and a coffee machine from Channel 4.
Since then, the wins have been slowly getting rarer and rarer, I think what someone said above about the economic climate is right. Many more people doing comps!Wins of 2014: *zip*

i've been entering twitter comps but i'm still not convinced by it lol and have been doing the rafflecopter ones but they seem to take so long.
my most successful year was also the big snap thing when I won loads of john lewis vouchers, that was soooooooo addictive!! I would have had a good year with mcvities comp too but ended up not recieving most of my prize money from them
I definately think win ratio will be a lot less now but i'm going to try and keep at it anyway, just because I enjoy it and it keeps me out of mischief lol xxThanks to everyone that posts :T:money:
