Downloading an Update for Drivermax

Options
Hi

I am trying to download an update to drivermax but I am getting this message 'The publisher of drivermax 7.29 cnet.exe couldn't be verified. Are you sure you want to run this program.' I am a very nervous computer user and I don't remember this happening during previous updates so some advice on what I should do next would be appreciated.

Why do you want to install drivers from unknown sources anyway (which is in essence what using DriverMax means you will be doing).

If you are having problems with some device or other go to the manufacturers site for driver or firmware upgrades. If there are no issues leave well alone.

Specifically, you don't want to run it as it is DriverMax in a CNET wrapper. So you'll need to be extra careful to not install the junkware included.

slimdrivers is a better option than drivermax anyway (I've trialled both, and slimd is way better)

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D
